Edison Ndayambaje, MA, BA - Director

A native of the Mgahinga area in Kisoro district, Edison has served as the Director of the Mgahinga Community Development Organization since 2008. Edison provides overall technical guidance, fundraising support, and financial oversight to MCDO. He holds a MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University (MA, USA) and a BA in Economics from Makerere University (Uganda).

Festo Kamanzi - Program Coordinator

Festo has worked with MCDO for over 10 years and has extensive experience in community mobilization, organizational development, and management. Festo overseas MCDO's communications department in addition to coordinating all MCDO supported projects.

Godfrey Habumurenyi, BSc. - Program Manager
As Program Manager, Godrey is in-charge of implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all MCDO projects and programs. Godfrey completed his BSc in Agricultural and Rural Innovation from Makerere University (Uganda). 

 

Immaculate Cyizakora, BA. - Program Assistant

A graduate of BA in Social Sciences from Makerere University (Uganda), Immaculate supports the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all MCDO projects and programs.

Patricia Muhawe - Office Admin 

Patricia is our Office Administrator based at the new MCDO offices in Kisoro. She supports the day-to-day needs of the organization. Patricia holds a Dip in Business Studies from Uganda College of Commerce, Kabale.

Jackson Sinamenye, BSc. - IT Specialist
A graduate of the BSc in Software Engineering Program at Makerere University, Jackson manages IT systems at MCDO including maintaining project websites, social media, and internal IT protocols.

Emmanuel Nsengiyunva - CBT Enterprise Manager
Emmanuel has managed MCDO's Community-Based Tourism (CBT) projects for more than 10 years. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of MCDO projects especially the Mutanda Eco-community Centre and the Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp.
